Sick Call

Sick Call. July 18, 2015.  Rev. Fr. Thomas Onoda.

As Fr. Onoda heard the Confession of the sick faithful, we prayed the Rosary outside her room.
Then Fr. Onoda gave her the Holy Communion.  After she had made her thanksgiving prayers in silence, we sang the following hymn to the Blessed Sacrament:

"Jesus, my Lord, my God, my All, how can I love Thee as I ought?
And how revere this wondrous gift so far surpassing hope or thought?

Sweet Sacrament we Thee adore, o make us love Thee more and more.
Oh, make us love Thee more and more.

Had I but Mary's sinless heart to love Thee with, my dearest King.
Oh, with what burst of fervent praise, Thy goodness, Jesus, would I sing.
Sweet Sacrament we Thee adore!
Oh, make us love Thee more and more.  Oh, make us love Thee more and more!"

After receiving the Holy Communion and making her prayers,
she smiled to Fr. Onoda who was taking her picture.

A smile after we made a deal with her:
that she help us with her prayers as we help her with our poor prayers...

On my previous visit, I had asked her if she would like to join the Militia Immaculatae
so she could  unite her prayers and sacrifices with the MI.
As an answer, she showed me the miraculous medal that she wore around her neck...
